I have no arguments with you here, specially with the first 2, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, the grand fathers of today's Heavy Metal, our grandfathers...
These bands are all legend and no one in this century can even compare to their talent.

I think that UFO, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Thin Lizzy are the top influences. UFO is my all time favorite though. I have a website about them.
